These terms cover what we deliver, what we need from you, and what happens when something changes.
These terms are between you and Aventura Sports Media. Where the athlete is under 18, the parent or legal guardian is the contracting party and is responsible for payment and for the permissions given.
Highlight reels, social content, photography, promo cards and related media work, as described on the page you ordered from and confirmed in your order or quote.
Delivery times shown on the site are targets, not guarantees. The clock starts when we have usable film or usable material from you, not on the date you place the order.
One round of revisions is included. Tell us what you want changed in one set of notes. Further rounds, or changes that alter the scope of the job, are chargeable at our current rate.
We make the film. We cannot and do not guarantee any scholarship, roster spot, offer, contact from a coach, or any other recruiting result.
If the film you supply is too low quality, too incomplete, or you cannot be identified in it, we will contact you before we start. We will either agree a fix with you, for example different film or a shoot, or refund you.
Booked shoots can be rescheduled at no charge up to 48 hours before the start time. Inside 48 hours, we may charge up to 50 percent of the shoot fee to cover the time held.
If a game or event is cancelled, postponed, or called off for weather, we reschedule at no charge. If a shoot cannot go ahead because of weather or a venue decision, you are not charged for it.
If we have to cancel, you get a full refund of anything paid for that shoot.
Before we start work, you can cancel for a full refund.
Once editing has started, we refund the part of the work not yet done.
Once a first cut has been delivered, the work is not refundable, but the included revision round still applies.
You receive the finished files and the full right to use them for your own purposes, including recruiting, your social accounts and sharing with coaches and family.
Aventura Sports Media retains copyright in the work it creates.
Whether Aventura can show your work in its own portfolio, website or social media depends on the separate permission in the Photo and Video Consent document. Without that permission, we do not use it.
You confirm that you have the right to send us the footage or photos you supply, and that our editing and delivering it does not breach an agreement you have with a club, league, school, streaming service or another provider. If a claim is made against us because that was not true, you are responsible for it.
All prices are in Canadian dollars and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Work begins once payment or the agreed deposit is received, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Prices shown on the site can change. The price that applies to your job is the one confirmed on your order or quote.
PLACEHOLDER: confirm whether HST is charged, and supply the HST number if registered.
We are responsible for doing the work properly. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including lost opportunities or recruiting outcomes. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the job the claim relates to.
We keep copies of working files only for the period set out in the Privacy Policy. Keep your own copy of the finished files.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction.
